Double extension USB cable gland

Plugging in a second controller, moving a few ROMs across or connecting a keyboard should not mean opening the cabinet every time. This double USB gland keeps two USB ports permanently reachable from outside your bartop or cabinet, with the extension cable fitted at the factory.

🎮 Two ports, one hole

The round head carries two female USB Type A ports stacked one above the other, so a single hole in the panel doubles your connectivity. On the inside face the cable splits into two male USB Type A connectors that go straight into your system. It is the usual answer for:

• Leaving two USB controllers permanently connected with no cables outside the cabinet.
• Moving ROMs or updating the system from a flash drive without taking anything apart.
• Plugging in a keyboard now and then to set up the Raspberry Pi or the PC.

🛠️ Installation

• Hole diameter: 30 mm, exactly the same size as 30 mm arcade buttons. If you have already done the control panel, you own the hole saw.
• Fixing: threaded nut on the inside face of the panel, with no screws or brackets.
• Tip: on MDF, drill slowly and from the good face so the edge of the hole does not chip.
