If you are going to mount the joystick on a panel of 16 mm or 19 mm thickness, you can add the shaft extender as an optional accessory. This small metal adapter screws between the shaft and the ball, adding 1.5 cm of extra height so that the joystick is at a comfortable and natural gripping height above the panel. It is especially useful in bartops and cabinets with thicker tops where without the extender the joystick would be too low.
