Isolation Relay for Arcade Electronic Coin Acceptors
What exactly does it do?
This solid-state relay module protects your arcade encoder by isolating the electronic coin acceptor circuit (12V) from the USB logic signal (5V). Prevents ground loops and voltage spikes that can damage your encoder board.
Key Features
- Complete electrical isolation between 12V coin circuit and 5V logic
- Solid-state design: no moving parts, silent operation
- LED indicators for input/output status
- Screw terminals: no soldering required
- Integrated flyback diode for inductive load protection
- Compact size: 44×18×17 mm, 13 g
Technical Specifications
| Input voltage | 5V DC (logic side) / 12V DC (load side) |
| Switching capacity | 10A / 250V AC |
| Channels | 1 (NO/NC/COM) |
| Dimensions | 44×18×17 mm |
| Weight | 13 g |
Compatibility
Works with Zero Delay USB Encoder, Xin Mo, IPAC, IPAC2, and Raspberry Pi GPIO projects. Not required for Pandora Box boards as they already include coin input isolation.
Ideal for custom bartop and arcade cabinet builds where you want to add a real coin mechanism without risking your encoder board.
