Which machines are they designed for?

These vinyls are specifically designed for bartop arcade on pedestal. They include additional pieces to cover the vertical structure of the pedestal, something that compact bartop vinyls do not incorporate. You can choose between OmniRetro models with pedestal or the Universal with Pedestal format for bartops from other brands mounted on their own base.

Universal with Pedestal format dimensions

The universal format includes the following pieces printed on a continuous sheet to cut following the marked shapes:

• Side panels (×2): 60 × 165 cm
• Marquee: 60 × 13 cm
• Screen: 60 × 40 cm
• Button panel: 60 × 40 cm
• Lower front: 60 × 90 cm

OmniRetro models are shipped with measurements adjusted to each machine. The number of pieces may vary depending on the selected model.

How to apply the vinyls

The vinyls are applied using the water and soap technique, which allows you to reposition them before the adhesive cures permanently. Follow these steps:

1. Prepare the surface. If you are applying to raw MDF, sand with fine-grit sandpaper and thoroughly clean the resulting dust. If the surface is a laminated board, a thorough cleaning is sufficient. Dust is the main enemy of vinyl.
2. Prepare the mixture. Fill a spray bottle with water and a few drops of washing-up liquid.
3. Apply the vinyl. Spray water generously over the surface and place the vinyl piece on top. The film of water will allow you to slide it and adjust it to the exact position.
4. Remove the water. With a vinyl squeegee or a credit card wrapped in a soft cloth, push the water from the centre towards the edges with firm, even movements.
5. Leave to dry. Repeat the water removal operation at intervals of several hours to ensure that no trapped moisture remains. Leave to dry completely before the next step.
6. Trim the excess. With a sharp cutter, trim the excess edges once the vinyl is completely dry and adhered.
